Takua the Avrahk 2013

BACKSTORY----------------------------

Takua was born just before a dark time on Coreaus, the mad scientist- turned ruthless dictator, Dr. Toxoron took control of the planet. At age nine, he lost his parents to the hordes of corrosive robots that ravaged the planet. He was taken to the refuge of Luzenite City, a crystalline metropolis that orbited the planet. There, he joined a band of freedom fighters led by Mach-Ikko, a sound-bending rahk whom didn't like him off the bat. The other members did however.

Takua spent the following years training with them, going off on recon missions and bonding with them, becoming like <nobr>family</nobr>, the family that Toxoron took away. But five years in, at age 14, during a fated assault, he looses his closest comrade and friend. His emotions broke (with explosive results) and the heart to Toxoron's <nobr>empire</nobr> collapsed, thrown into disarray and the planet and it's people were freed.

For the next two years, Takua (age 16) tracks down Toxoron's hideout and confronts him for the last time. He finally traps him into a cryogenic pod and frozen solid. Takua then barricades the door for good measure. Toxoron was finally gone and he relished the new peace he ushered in. But sadly, two years later, he was killed by an unknown assailant, shocking the world.

1000 years passed, the planet changed and a new generation of freedom fighters walked it's face.  The Cosmic Star, a incredably powerful artifact said to have powered the city in old times, was possessed by Takua's lost mind and soul. It's near-endless power created a new body for him, using Light Crystals. Takua was reborn, now with the Star sitting in his chest ,to a world that all but forgot him.

Once he arrived onto the planet's surface, he came across a new enemy, Professor Pyro, a descendant of Toxoron. He easily destroys a RED Baron, a RED mech specially designed to be indestructible. This disbelief shocks and infuriates Pyro and an intense rivalry sparks alight.

After thwarting Prof. Pyro's efforts world domination, he caught word of an insane time wizard, wanting to unwound the universal timeline for reasons known only to him. He took off in pursuit of him, embarking on an adventure across time and space, crossing worlds beyond his imagination.

ABILITIES/TRAITS----------------

As an Avrahk, he can control light.

His personality deviates from the other Avrahks. Rather than being peaceful, calm, and shy, he is a brave thrill-seeker. A complete opposite! Thus upon evolution from normal to light, he gained a distinctive hedgehog-like appearence. But because of his Cosmic Star, he is immortal.

He is able to move at high speeds, able to reach close to the speed of light. He can perform attacks like the Spin Dash and Homing Attack. He can combine his light powers with these to enhance them.

He bears the passive ability "Velocity," which boosts the traveling speed of his energy attacks and the inertia from said attack boosts its power upon impact. 

But his signature attack is the Star Buster, an energy attack that can act like a copy ability, thus he can use other energy-based attacks he's seen. But that doesn't even <nobr>compare</nobr> to his strongest move, Starlight Slash; usable only in Cosmic and Galactic forms, this move is a one hit kill. Also while in Cosmic or Galactic, he can channal all of his remaining strength into a last-ditch "Sacrificial" Star Buster. He reverts to normal upon use and faints shortly afterwards, but it's raw power is truly devastating.

During his travels, Takua made good use of his "Soul Tag" ability, which allows him to track targets via a telepathic link and sense when they're in danger. The linking is signified by a flash in his eyes upon eye contact. He can only track one target at a time.

Takua can also utilize the seven Kura Shards, powerful relics that each embody elemental abilities. With each of these, he can wield fire, water, earth, air, lightning, ice and arcane (AKA magic). He can only use one at a time. He needs all seven to enter Galactic form.

Unfortunately, Takua is not that bright. At the time of Toxoron's reign, no educational programs were set up. Takua wouldn't even have the patience or time of such anyways. Takua tends to stay away from water because he can't swim unless he uses the water Kura Shard.

He is also still tormented by his past because of Toxoron. He could petrify in fear at the sight of his "return".

Trivia:

-At this point, he has not been to Mobius, thus he hasn't met Sonic.

-Because of his recent adventures, the Luzenites (the organization he works for) member diversity has exploded to many other races.
